About the Business
My career in graphic design and website building began in July of 2018 when I built my first website, The Spoonless Witch. I didn't know anyone who could help me with graphics or in creating my own website, so I had to teach myself. Eventually, I learned, and I started to worry about failure less and enjoy the journey more. As I learned, I offered to help friends and family with their websites, graphics, and social media, for free at first to gain experience.
I truly think creating new websites or upgrading established websites is so much fun, just looking at this blank canvas of a website and imagining what I can create out of it just makes me so excited! I've created my art website, The Spoonless Witch and update it almost daily, my dad's insurance website Prince Hill Insurance Agency, LLC., and update that often, my best friend Ashley's website Ashley's Aura, and I update that whenever she asks me for help, and I built this new website you're looking at right now!
I also love creating graphics, I enjoy taking inspiration from the business I'm working with and the type of work they do. Often, if I find myself with extra time, I'll get into my graphic designing apps and see what unique images I can create from the depths of my bored mind.
I've been on social media since I was 12 years old and consider myself an expert in the area. I've worked with the social media websites; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Ads, Google My Business, Snapchat, and YouTube, but I use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest daily. I've created paid ads on Facebook/Instagram, Google, and YouTube.
I'm happy to take on jobs for any type of company, and have done graphics, website building, and/or social media managing for types of businesses like; insurance, painting, doctor's office, metaphysical, art, and more.
I have been working in graphic design since I started my own website in July of 2018. Since then, I have been working for more businesses such as Prince Hill Insurance Agency, LLC., RR Commercial Painting Inc., Ashley's Aura, Sunnshineart, and my own business as it has continued to grow, The Spoonless Witch. You can see all these pictures in my graphic design gallery. I've made a wide variety of designs, one of the more unique ones being the picture I made for Stroke Awareness Month for the bulletin board for the doctor's office that my mom works in. Some of my images have gone in ads on Facebook and Instagram, and some have even gone in our local periodical, the Turnpike Buyer, for my dad's insurance business, Prince Hill Insurance Agency, LLC., and they've generated a lot of phone calls and website activity.
I started with web design by building my own website, first using Pattern (from Etsy) and then using the e-commerce website builder Shopify. Shortly after that, my dad asked me to build a website for his insurance agency, Prince Hill Insurance Agency, LLC., using the website builder InsuranceSplash, I continue to do updates to that website often. Then my best friend Ashley asked me to build her website using Shopify again, and she loves it and gets complimented on it often! Her website is Ashley's Aura and I've done almost all the graphic design work on her website, including her logo, which you can see in my graphic design gallery. She still sometimes asks me to update her website if she has trouble with it. I'm most comfortable working with e-commerce type website builders, as I'm not fully experienced in coding.
I've been using social media since I was 12 years old, and I began using it professionally in July of 2018 when I opened my small business, The Spoonless Witch. I used Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for that. When I started helping my dad with his insurance business, Prince Hill Insurance Agency, LLC., I took over his social media websites too. He only had Facebook and LinkedIn at the time. I then made him Instagram and Twitter accounts, which made him stand out as a modern insurance agency. When my dad became friends with the owner of RR Commercial Painting Inc., I took over his Facebook, as it needed help. I've used the social media sites Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Ads/Google My Business, Snapchat and YouTube, and I've made paid ads on Facebook/Instagram, Google and YouTube.
